Orange and onion salad

x4 people 20 min easy


  • 4 oranges
  • 2 onions
  • 100 g bacon
  • 20 g pine nuts
  • extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • mustard to taste
  • iodised extra fine salt Cuor di Mare
  • pepper, thyme (pomegranate grains) to taste


  1. Fillet an orange and cut the onions into thin slices.
  2. Juice the second orange and emulsify the juice with salt, pepper, mustard, thyme and extra virgin olive oil to make a thick sauce.
  3. Sauté the bacon until crisp.
  4. Remove the orange fillets from the marinade and add them to the onions.
  5. Add pine nuts and finish with bacon.
    Try to add bread croutons!
