Ingredients
- 250 g flour 00
- fine iodised salt Cuor di Mare to taste
- white wine, half a glass
- Half a glass of olive oil
Method
- Mix flour, oil and wine and add a handful of fine salt.
- Knead until the dough is smooth.
- Slice small pieces of the dough and roll them out to into a rope.
- Join the two ends of the rope to shape a small doughnut.
- Bring water to a boil in a pot and add the taralli a few at a time.
- Once they float, scoop them out with a slotted spoon and place on a clean tea towel.
- Then sprinkle the taralli with unrefined coarse salt and arrange them on a tray, and bake at 200° for 20 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
