Octopus with onion

x4 people 50 min medium


  • 600 g octopus
  • 400 g onions
  • 600 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • basil leaves
  • fine iodised salt Cuor di Mare


  1. Clean and wash the octopus and dice it.
  2. In a saucepan, sauté the onion and the cherry tomatoes. Then add the octopus on them.
  3. Cover with more onions, add salt and pepper, and cook over low heat.
  4. Deglaze with wine and cook until the sauce has reduced.
  5. Serve hot with fresh basil.
  6. Try it also with spaghetti!
